- Ene takes over the Mekakushi Dan Twitter account.[1] She replies to people on Twitter and reveals that she took over due to boredom and mentions that Shintaro is asleep.[2][3]
Kisaragi Momo no Nemurase NIGHT[]
- Ene posts the link to Momo's live stream on Twitter and mentions that Momo had been wanting to do a live stream for a long time.[4]
- Momo hosts a live stream on Nico Nico titled 【Everyone】The Night Kisaragi Momo Puts You to Sleep 【Big Welcome】 (【みんな】如月モモの眠らせNIGHT【大歓迎】 【Minna】Kisaragi Momo no Nemurase NIGHT 【Daikangei】). Both Ene and Hibiya's voice actress, Misuzu Togashi, comment on how unusual the stream title is.[5][6]
Momo reveals that she is doing the live stream in secret because Shintaro wouldn't allow her to do one, then warns the viewers that any weird sounds they hear are from her brother who is in the room next to her. She talks about how she wanted to stream herself playing a squid game (implied to be Splatoon), but had trouble connecting the devices. At one point, they started to emit smoke. Momo tried to put out the smoke by pouring water on the devices, which caused them to explode.
Momo then talks about how she had an idea to do a cooking stream with Danchou-san because Kido is good at cooking and has a lot of utensils. She went to her place, but Kido was nervous about the whole ordeal. While Momo only planned to record Kido's hands with Momo being the one in frame, Kido was still anxious about showing her face. They settled on Kido wearing a gas mask, but Kido felt awkward about being the only person wearing the mask so she made Momo wear one as well. The gas masks limited their vision and sense of smell so they didn't notice the gas leak in the kitchen until an explosion happened. No one was hurt, but afterwards they agreed to not hold any more cooking streams.
After the failed attempt at a cooking stream, Momo had an idea to hold a stream outdoors. Along with Seto, they went to the mountains. She had an idea to have a cow milking contest, but when they arrived at a meadow a cow exploded.
Momo wonders if she is cursed after so many explosions occurred whenever she streamed. She tries to lighten the mood by switching the subject to summer vacations, then goes on to talk about a time when she went out shopping with an acquaintance, who turns out to be Ayano. The background music turns eerie as Momo describes Ayano; a beautiful yet mysterious person with an easygoing lifestyle. It was really hot on the day they went out shopping, around 30 degrees Celsius, but Ayano still wore a bright red scarf the entire time. Momo tried to ignore it, but got curious after a while and asked if it was tough wearing a scarf at this heat. Ayano reassured her it was fine since it was one of her summer scarves which convinced Momo for a moment since Ayano hadn't broken out in sweat and looked refreshed. She then realized the she had never heard of summer scarves before.
After the shopping, Momo and Ayano stopped by the Kisaragi house for an hour where they talked about Momo's older brother. After Ayano left, Momo found Ayano's scarf discarded on the floor of her room. Curious about the scarf, Momo touched it and found that it was a normal scarf best suited for winter. When she tried to put it on though, the telephone on the lower floor began to ring. This creeped Momo out, but she figured since her mom was at work and her brother never left his room she had to go and answer the call.
Momo answered the call which turned out to be from Ayano who sounded troubled. Ayano asked if she had seen her scarf since she can't calm down without it then asked if she could stop by to get it. Momo offered to bring the scarf to Ayano, but Ayano the asked if Shintaro could bring it to her instead. Shintaro didn't go to deliver the scarf and the scene ends with a scream sound-effect, akin to how most Japanese scary stories end.
The eerie background music stops as Momo declares the end of the stream. She wonders what kinds of stream she will do next then mentions that she had been invited to a party by a friend. As she says goodbye, she notices smoke coming out of the computer, prompting her to pour some water on it. The stream ends with an explosion.[7]
- The explosion from the stream startles Ene and wakes up Shintaro. Ene decides to stop posting for the day.[8][9]
August 7th[]
- Ene posts the invitation to a party she received from Marry.
- After Shintaro spends about 30 minutes in the bathroom, seemingly reluctant to leave the house, Momo drags him out and the three of them leave to go to a train station.[16][17]
- Ene, Momo and Shintaro continue their journey to the mansion on foot after they arrive in the countryside. Ene posts several photos of the landscape along the way.
- Ene, Momo and Shintaro arrive at a eerie forest. Shintaro starts to laugh extensively, which Ene assumes is out of fear and exhaustion. [18]
- Ene, Momo and Shintaro arrive at the entrance of the mansion where the party is held.
