Mekakucity Reboot (メカクシティリブート Mekakushiti Ribūto) is an upcoming release celebrating the 10th anniversary of Kagerou Project by remaking songs and videos from the series.[1] The first single was Children Record (Re:boot) by Jin with a music video by Sayuki and INPINE[2], being the first stage of a collaboration titled “Kagerou Project: 10 Years x 10 Creators”.[3] However, it is currently unreleased due to copyright issues.
On August 5, 2021, Jin apologized for being unable to proceed on Mekakucity Reboot, Kagerou Daze No.9, and the "New Chapter" due to copyright issues, and that he hopes to resolve them. He said he will put more effort into it so that the time fans wait will be rewarded.[4] On November 22, 2022, Jin and ARCH said they were not aware of where the series' copyright was located.[5]
